It's time to examine, or re-examine why you do what you do, and why you work where you do.

Attend the morning of educational sessions at our Celebration of Philanthropy and learn how!

In the session "Unlocking Your Potential by Unleashing Your Purpose" Paul Eisenstein - Social Enterprise Practice Leader for Y Scouts, will share the power that can be unleashed when your personal values match those of the organization for whom you work. Deepen your commitment to your current position, or learn how to find that "perfect match."

Click Here to view the agenda of morning educational sessions.

Paul Eisenstein is the Social Enterprise Practice Leader for Y Scouts.  Paul joined Y Scouts in 2012 and works with nonprofits and social enterprises to identify and hire leaders who not only have deep functional expertise but are aligned with an organization’s unique purpose, values, and culture and possess the characteristics of truly Exceptional Leaders.  Paul gains satisfaction from knowing that the leaders he places directly help those who struggle become strong.

From 2008 to 2012, Paul served as the V.P. of Operations at The Mission Continues, a nationally-focused nonprofit dedicated to empowering returning military veterans in continued service.  Paul helped grow The Mission Continues from a $250K organization in 2008 to nearly $8 million in 2011 revenue.  Prior to The Mission Continues, Paul worked for the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program and also served as a youth program coordinator through AmeriCorps.  Paul earned his Bachelor's from Saint Louis University and his M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Join your fellow fundraising executives at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix on Wednesday, November 11 to celebrate philanthropy. The day will begin with a morning of educational sessions with top professionals and conclude with our awards luncheon. Please plan to join us!

    AFP October
    Educational Luncheon

“How Marketing Can Impact Your Fundraising”

We all know a nonprofit’s success is directly tied to fundraising. But, we forget that fundraising success is directly tied to communications and marketing messages. Marketing and fundraising go hand in hand. Marketing is a function of fundraising, not the other way around.

Learn why marketing for fundraising exists and what your branding is supposed to do for your organization. Learn why having separate silos of marketing and fundraising will hurt you. And, don’t miss out on learning how marketing for fundraising is about the good work your organization does. Learn how to teach others about why your work is important.

    Who Should Attend:

    Marketing Staff

    Communications Staff

    Major Gift Officers
