Family Business Forum will feature Adam Goodman with Goodman Interiors
The Pakis Center for Business Philanthropy is proud to present the 10th installment in the Family Business Forum. Hear from Adam Goodman, third-generation President of Goodman Interiors, as he shares his journey from disinterested in business to leading one of the Valley's most dynamic family-owned companies. Leslie Dashew, family business advisor, will serve as the moderator.
While the opportunity to succeed parents in the business may be unique in family owned businesses, it is not always compelling. There are often challenges in separating the role of parent from boss and in finding one's passion in a business that might not be considered "sexy." However, transforming the business can be an interesting opportunity for the succeeding generation--when the conditions allow for that. This entails several generations exploring the possibilities, their personal dreams and the business purpose. ALIGNING BUSINESS AND LEADERSHIP PURPOSE IN THE FAMILY BUSINESS
